Privacy
🍪 This site doesn’t like cookies
At least, not the digital kind.
Chocolate ones are a different story.
What you’ll find here
This is a teacher’s personal website. It sells nothing, has no newsletter, no registration forms, no restricted areas. It’s made of text, diagrams and a few interactive charts.
Cookies? None.
This site sets no cookies in your browser — no tracking cookies, no session cookies, no “technically necessary” cookies, no profiling. Zero. Zip. Nada.
You can verify this yourself by opening your browser’s developer tools (F12 → Application → Cookies): the list will be desolately empty.
Analytics: yes, but without spying
The site uses Umami Analytics, an analytics tool designed explicitly to respect privacy:
| What it does | What it does NOT do |
|---|---|
| Counts page visits | Use cookies |
| Measures traffic sources | Store IP addresses |
| Shows which devices are used | Track you across other sites |
| Runs on my own server, not Google’s | Sell data to anyone |
Umami is open-source, self-hosted and collects only aggregated, anonymous data. There is no way to trace data back to you as an individual.
External resources
Some pages load JavaScript libraries from CDNs (jsDelivr) for math rendering (KaTeX) and charts (Chart.js). These libraries set no cookies and collect no data: they are equivalent to downloading a static file.
In summary (GDPR version)
Since there are no cookies and no collection of personal data, EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) imposes no consent obligations for this site. There is nothing to consent to or refuse.
